Special Project Funding Program
Announcing The 2008/2009 Julian Middle School PTO Fall Round Special Project Funding Program for requests over $500* Dear Teachers, Staff and Parents, Do you have a great idea for a school program? Have you been talking with another teacher about a great but unfunded student opportunity? The Julian Middle School PTO is again able to support a yearly competition for special project funding. WHO: The Julian PTO will award up to approx. $7,000 in the 2008/09 school year. WHEN: There will be a Fall/Winter round and Spring round (assuming available remaining funds) of funding. The deadline for the Fall/Winter round of requests is November 14, 2008. COMMITTEE: Proposals will be reviewed by the PTO Budget Committee, Treasurer, PTO Co-Presidents, and Principal Dr. Sharts. Final approval of recommended proposals will be by the full PTO at the December 1 meeting. WHERE: Proposals should be dropped off in the PTO Treasurer’s mailbox in the Julian main office. WHAT: Project funding must be expended before the last day of the school year. Requests should keep in the mind the Julian PTO Mission Statement:
